There is some high quality stuff being sprayed onto walls (and not by the local cats either) in London these days. I keep seeing a great recurring piece on No Entry signs that I will get round to capturing on here. In the meantime here is something that made me laugh out loud when I drove past it on Liverpool Rd in Islington yesterday. Topical graffiti – Banksy eat your heart out!
I couldn’t resist this miniature skull (not to mention it was about £1000 cheaper than anything else on display) when I visited Olympia Antiques last weekend. Next was finding the right sized glass dome – one in photo is the smallest I could get – it’s from a manufacturer of dolls house furniture!

Billing themselves as ‘Modern Alchemists and Purveyors of Curious Goods’ the D&L Company produces a range of inspired objects – from skulls in brass and silver – perfectly rendered in anatomical detail to Memento Mori and a ranges of scented candles in bejeweled boxes. These are seriously indulgent objects – expensive certainly but oozing with charm and sinister delight.

The Papermonsters blurb on the new print is as follows:

I love BAST‘s work – its been a bit quiet on the print front but with a newly formed blog (check it out here) I have a feeling we may be hearing more from BAST.

Terry has been a busy boy – the photographer is a whirling dervish of photos – published daily at his blog. Now he has another book coming out images fresh from an exhibition with Diesel - Hong Kong by Terry Richardson. As soon as I have more details or where to buy the book I will update the post…
